Red Apple is a key link between the Rhopode producers and the industries working on the processing and freezing of vegetables, in Greece and abroad, as it supplies them with about 900 tons of okra per year.

In the Prefecture of Rhopode, the areas cultivated with okra each year are about 1000 stremmas. Okra is a crop, which from small number of stremmas can have a high yield on fruit, even though it is demanding. The okra plant is sensitive to low temperatures and requires a warm environment both for the vegetation of the seeds and its growth.

Red Apple cooperates with more than 150 certified okra producers in the prefecture of Rhodope. The agriculturalists that cooperate with the company advise the producers of its spraying, irrigation, and harvesting and make all necessary control to make sure that during their harvest any plant protection has been completely eliminated. The green fruits are harvested by the producers at the size of 3-6 cm, before they become fibrous and the seeds are fully developed. Fruit intended for processing must be smaller than or equal to 9 cm.

Red Apple has undertaken the daily collection of daily fruit production from the producers in several areas of Rhodope.

It is equipped with a large number of refrigerator trucks, which receive the production on the same day of collection and transfer it to its own facilities, where on the same day and after the production is concentrated from all areas, it is loaded and transported by refrigerator trucks at 5-7 C° to the companies specializing in the okra processing, which includes canning and freezing processing.
